Re: K High-- RR&Call shove?
FWIW, I like it. It's uber risky, but sexy. It makes sense that villain would have a draw be it multi or not. Still, gutsy and you're welcoming in variance for a stay, but I think it has merit.
That said, I wouldn't try this too often |

Re: K High-- RR&Call shove?
I fold this flop. Yea sometimes villain will go nuts on a flop that didn't look like it hit you (esp. the short stacks), but it is rare that he will 3BAI with air. I think you lucked out that he didn't have a pair or an ace. I wouldn't make these type of calls a habit at 25NL. If you are going to call with a high card, at least have a decent ace, preferably with some sort of draw to go along with it. You can go broke in a hurry making these kind of calls.
Also, if you put him on air, why not raise all-in if you are going to have to call the rest of his stack anyway? |

Just shove the first time.

Re: K High-- RR&Call shove?
I don't get it.
The only reason to play like this against a short stack is to create a decent reckless image, which is a complete waste of times in this levels. Sure one or two players will notice and look you up more often. But hello!! they already do any ways. |

Re: K High-- RR&Call shove?
Yeah I wouldn't do this often at all, (By the way, hi felix
and looking back he only had $3.40 so I should have just shoved on him, but my raise was committing enough. Afterwards the entire table was talking about the play so I got no respect, and got to stack someone with AK on a K high flop vs a pair of threes who gave me zero credit. |
