Hmm, with the hand you posted right before, I think his range is much wider than set. Since you have position, I like call and reevaluate the turn.

I thought of it the exact opposite. My range of 3 betting is probably smaller the 2nd time, and I expect him to know this. Also c/ring in a preflop 3bet pot isn't a common bluff tactic I'd imagine.

pot is too big to call and reevel IMO. I call the flop and get the rest in on the turn without much thought. Shoving is fine too.

[/ QUOTE ] It is if he thinks your 3-betting with a wide range. He may have a set here, but I think you see a ten or a lower pocket pair here pretty often. It kind of depends on the opponent, so it is kind of difficult without reads. If you prefer to fold and find a better spot, I suppose that isn't horrible, but I don't think this is always a set and you played it weak. |

my bad, I thought hero had AA for some reason. I'd just shove the flop w/ QQ.
And when you 3-bet 2 hands in a row, unknowns always think you're FOS. |
