What kinda hand does this?
Ok I need some help on this hand. 3 dollar on stars in the second hour. Villain has been playing pretty tight, i dont think he has played a pot other than blinds since he got to the table 15-20 hands ago. I had been been very active the last 10-15 hands through a good string of cards. That said how did i play this and how should i have? Also none of my hands had been shown recently other than callign a small allin with my JJ

"What kinda hand does this?"
Usually a hand that beats you, i.e. a flush or KQ. Fold. |

Re: What kinda hand does this?
air more likely than not, a good naked Diamond could be doing it too... Ad for sure, Kd - MAYBE....
Tricky player or total donk will do this with a made flush (for different reasons). Without reads - it's a tough call. I'd probably still amke it though because I'm a calling station... |

Re: What kinda hand does this?
In a 3 dollar tournament this would be screaming, AT KQ or a flush, I'm not likely to be sticking around to find out.
If you been active he definatly could have called both spots with AT or KQ. If he picked up something like Ax of diamonds he might have called as well. If he's tight I dunno what else he might have unless it's a set, but he likely wouldn't have waited till the turn to jam a set of jacks or 5's and calling a bet on that flop with two overs with TT would seem a bit loose for a tight player. Anyway I think about it your beat more then your ahead so I'm folding and saving my chips for a better place. |
