SF East Bay WSOP League

Okay, this season is almost wrapped up. We have only one more tourney left before sending 3 people to the June 30th $1500 event. We'll be getting ready real soon to start the next league for WSOP 2008.

In a nutshell: $200 entry. 10 tournaments. 3rd Saturday each month. Venue rotates between Tracy and Manteca every other month. 1 $1500 entry for every $1500 in entry fees. Left over $ gets spent in Vegas by anyone who wants to come and "cheerlead" on booze, etc. Points awarded according to where you finish in each tourney.

The last tourney for this season is June 16th. If you'd like to come and check out the group of people to decide if you want to join, let me know.

You can check out the results this season at yours truly dot com. Yeah, there's a PStars link there, but I'm no affiliate, no one has ever clicked it, it's more for decoration than anything else.

I really wish I would have joined up for the league this year, and feel like I kinda missed out on a good opportunity, and a lot of fun by not playing in the tournaments as often as I could have. I just figured I would have been content to play in the cash game that followed the bust outs, but the past two monthes that I've played the donkament have been a blast. You can count me in next year.

Also, I've talked to a couple folks down at the cardroom, and it seems there are potentally some new fish interested in joining the rest of you all. So maybe we can get 4 seats to go next year.

We missed you last Saturday. I slid into 3rd place, but it's not a very comfortable lead.

When I saw 'East Bay' I thought you meant East Bay, not central valley. I'm over in Hayward, but have an interest in the format. What kind of turnout do you have per cycle?

Well, the Delta runs to Tracy and the Delta is connected to the Bay, so how about "Extreme East Bay"? [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

We average 40 players each month. It's a ton of fun.
