Default All in UTG final table

How do we calculate the odds to push UTG? Specifically, final table, 8 players, 6 pay, we have 18k, blinds are 2k 4k, M is 3,two other players have a little more than we do, other players have 2 to 3 times our stack. We have A 9 suited utg and push. We are called by AJ and bust. Intuitively, pushing seems to be the best play. Everyone may fold, or we may get called with a worse hand (KQ) or under pair (88) by a big stack sheriff or a small stack looking to double. And surely we do not want the blinds to pass through us and take 1/3 of our short stack. But, how do we calculate our EV? How often will we be called by a big pair (AA thru 99) or an ace with a better kicker when there are 7 players behind us?

Is this in the wrong forum?

You can use ICM to calculate your equity for fold, push (get blinds), push (get called and win) and push (get called and lose). Put your opponents on calling ranges to determine the chance of getting called and a poker calculator to work out your equity against their calling range(s).

Then you just need to put it all together. SNGPT or SNGWiz can do this if you can get the correct payout structure inputted.
