This is great news. I hadn't heard much and wasn't expecting CYE back any time soon. Cool bananas.

Can't wait until Sunday!

Fun fact -- I just watched the episode in which Larry buys weed for his Dad and the drug dealer is Hurley from Lost.

Can't wait for more LD. Do we know how many eps this season will last? I assume it's ten again, but I haven't heard anything for sure.

I'm crossing my fingers that this season won't suck. Like Sopranos - which I swear said they were calling it quits after season three or four but then churned out a couple more - I thought CYE planned to hang it up years ago. I thought the first three seasons were awesome but after that maybe I expected too much or became too critical because it didn't quite do it for me. Will probably still watch though.

I thought 4 and 5 were probably the best two seasons (though you could really make an argument for any of the five). Still, the great thing about Curb is that there is no running plot; with no storyline to worry about, they have a bit more freedom in churning out a sixth season since they can do whatever they want, and that makes me think that the show could be excellent no matter how long it runs.

also i think larry david would stop making the show before he would put out a product that was subpar. it's not like he needs the money or anything.

I hope you're both right of course. My beef with S4-S5 is that they seemed to run out of weird situations and ended up going with SUPER weird, even more implausible scenarios. Don't know, some of it just seemed forced to me. But I love LD and the fact that they don't really script it so much as they just guide the actors in a certain direction and let them ad lib.
