AK Obvious Fold, right?
Table is playing really passive, I did just get moved here about 10 minutes before this. I was tilty during this tournament too...if that's any indication. It is probably an obvious fold, but go ahead and flame away.
This was a 20/180 on stars, btw... 75/150 blinds, 65 players left PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) MP2 (t8115) CO (t5085) Button (t1160) SB (t4165) BB (t2440) Hero (t5270) UTG+1 (t4320) MP1 (t2645) Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero raises to t450, 3 folds, CO calls t450, 1 fold, SB calls t375, 1 fold. Re: AK Obvious Fold, right?
Yes, I fold. Calling off your stack with AK unimproved is ugly. Your stack is still big enough to work with at this stage.
BTW, I check this flop. |

Re: AK Obvious Fold, right?
I check shove this flop a lot. Putting the last bet in is key. As played I prob ball getting 2.5 to 1 with 7-10 outs often.

Re: AK Obvious Fold, right?
Yeah. Check raise this flop, put pressure on medium overpairs to the board.

Re: AK Obvious Fold, right?
I don't think that I would have C-bet the flop especially into three players. I also don't think calling the all in was a good idea, he called a raise of 4x big blind before the flop and he re-raises the pre-flop aggressor who makes a pot sized bet, you could have him beat but I think it is unlikley, especially at this level and the fact that the table was passive. He could be making a move but there is still one person to act, I am folding this hand and not feeling bad about it.

Re: AK Obvious Fold, right?
I wouldn't cbet teh flop. Check and decide whether to checkraise, call, or fold if someone bets.
As played, I think you have a pot odds all of the push. You may have 10 outs or even have AQ dominated. |
