0.5/1 river decision NLCASH
Been playing some with this player. He's a good player capable of mixing up his play. He has a nice wide 3-betting range.
effective stacks $100. I open 99 in the sb he 3-bets to 12, I call. Flop comes Q53 (I think) w/ two diamonds At least it's Q high with no other card higher than my nine. He bets like 18ish into 23ish. I call. Turn is the King of diamonds. check check. River is an offsuit Jack. he bets 39ish. anyone calls? I don't have any memory of this scenario happening before. I feel like all I can put him on something like a king with a high diamond, QJ and AT. I know this is quite a few hands but his 3-betting range is really wide and I'm sure he's capable of running a bluff here since my hand also seems really transparent. edit: I have the 9d fwiw. |

I cannot call here. This is an excellent place for villain to bluff.

Re: 0.5/1 river decision
You definitely can't call.
What's your image in his mind? If you're playing pretty tight and he's capable of laying down a lot of one pair hands here then you can raise. Most likely you have to fold here. And not a great board for him to bluff necessarily, depending on your image and the fact that you call less 3-bets than raises (how much less is obv a factor). |

Re: 0.5/1 river decision
does he think you are the kind of player that would trap with TP, and also call flop with AK? if not he can bet QT here also.
- but still its a fold. |
