99 vrs a DONKEY
Readless but obviously his line makes him a donk... I'm probably not folding unless a 7 comes (this isnt a FD or soemthing enough and im just whatever if he has the 56... also I'd do this with AKcc sometimes) Uh I thought i hadbest hand ALOT of the time on the flop and that 3betting is like giving himi a free pass.. I called with the intention of leading the turn.. I didnt wanna give afree card, i WOULD crai if he was gonna bet but i wasn't 100% sure he would

Re: 99 vrs a DONKEY
I think its ok as long as you are folding to a turn raise.

Re: 99 vrs a DONKEY
i dont like the cold call on his raise preflop, his raise isnt going to fold any draws, with such a draw heavy board, IF i played in a few hands with him and got a better read, i would shove flop. i cant see him min. raising a set, clearly nobody is going to fold with any kind of drawy hand. it would help if you had a read on him with his 3 better range and opening/calling range, if you saw a few showdowns. if he comes over the top on your turn, i would fold.
the best line would be to 3 bet him on the flop and shut down if he pushes, if he cold calls check turn, if he is drawing to a club i cannot see him doing anything but 2 options, checking behind or shoving turn as a "donkish move", which ive seen alot from 1/2. |

Re: 99 vrs a DONKEY
3betting the flop and shutting down to a push makes me want to cry.

Re: 99 vrs a DONKEY
What are you doing on a AKQ club river if he calls?
BTW, I like the turn lead instead of 3betting flop |

Re: 99 vrs a DONKEY
leading turn is going to burn money.....your only getting called by hands that have you very crippled, 3 betting flop will make your choice alot easier then if he cold calls turn.....whats your river option?

[ QUOTE ]
god no why would i fold to a turn raise [/ QUOTE ] b/c I dont think he shoves with worse? You say you are basically readless, but from his pf play (limp/calling the button) he seems more on the passive side rather than aggro. I think sets/2pr/combo draws/56 make up a HUGE part of his turn raising range and our equity sucks vs that range. |

Re: 99 vrs a DONKEY
by leading turn he knows exactly where you are in the hand and you have make a 50% chance of an idea of where he is, gives your hand away, your not calling a min raise with a set, he will try and get value from your hand with any of his made draws....unless he is doing this with complete air trying to float.
