I'd raise, morons like this don't fold top pair or something like 45 which I think are the most likely hands for him. If he three bets you can probably pitch it but I don't mind getting some money in there on the flop

Value raise, fold to a re-raise. Re-evaluate turn if called.

when you say value raise, how much do you actually mean. if villain is a complete donkey like OP suggets then potting it would be a value raise IMO. thats why i went with that line.

do you suggest a lower raise anf fold to RR?

Pot or maybe a little under pot (not a min-raise). Whatever is consistent with hero's image. Since pot size wasn't given, I answered more generically.

OP, I really do not mind a fold if villain has 2 overs because he isn't putting another dime in the pot unless he hits the turn or river.

I'd size my raise according to what I'd raise with a bigger overpair.

Is this 100NL, or 200NL?

I think you need to raise here for value and fold to a 3bet.
He could easily have any one pair hand, and often calling the raise.

As to size,
I think near pot will do the job.

I don't mind a minraise or a 3x raise.
