$5+0.50 Passive Line with AKs Early
PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com
UTG (t690) UTG+1 (t1210) MP1 (t2300) MP2 (t2890) MP3 (t850) Hero (t1440) Button (t1370) SB (t1380) BB (t1370) Preflop: Hero is in CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raises to t90, UTG+1 calls t90, MP1 calls t90, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, Hero calls t90 An UTG raise and then two calls - the options are call and raise. I can definitely see myself playing a mulitway if I reraise and don't feel like I can continue if I miss the flop. Am I wrong? Should I reraise anyway? |

Re: $5+0.50 Passive Line with AKs Early
If you reraise you pretty much have to shove, making it 400 or something is gross with these stacks. Even with the dead money, since UTG is at least decent enough to properly size his raise, I like calling better in position, since I would like to believe that my edge in a 5 dollar sng is big enough to warrant not wanting to get it in with AK early on.

Re: $5+0.50 Passive Line with AKs Early
I like shoving here, but i like to shove with AK a lot. It's great +EV and if you do get knocked out you can open up a new one easily. With so much dead money, i'm just shoving and we're likely collecting the pot, in a flip, or dominating AQ-AT.

Push preflop. 315 in the pot already.
