Most Eye Opening Thing You\'ve Learned From TV Poker
Before I started watching Poker on TV, I gave people more credit than they deserved. I didn't realize exactly how often the flop missed them.
Now, if anything, I give people too little credit. |

-If the last place person in a 2000 man tourney yells a lot, he will be on TV
-If the winner of the tourney is boring, you won't see him until the final table or longer. |

Re: Most Eye Opening Thing You\'ve Learned From TV Poker
I have learned how important it is to be classy, because the last thing I want to do is act like a tool on national television. Also, I feel I will gain a lot of respect from those in the poker community who know what they are talking about by letting my play do the talking rather than my mouth or my antics.

I learned that Marcel Luske (sp) is the classiest person at the poker table. He seems to handle his winning and losing in the same way. He doesn't overreact.
Phil Hellmuth, Mike Madasow, and all the amateurs looking for role models should look his way. |

People should emulate George Danzer from the 2006 WSOP.

If there's a holecam with a pane of glass built into the table, Phil Hellmuth will instinctively know exactly how to position himself to get the most square inches of his face showing as he talks through the glass to the commentators. See: High Stakes Poker, Premier League Poker, Poker Den: The Big Game.
