Default Flopped set 6s, facing large river bet on draw-heavy board.

Villain very loose and aggressive, raised half the hands he was dealt.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($49.05)
UTG ($130.49)
MP ($49.75)
Hero ($46.50)
Button ($27.20)
SB ($62.05)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 6, 6.
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold</font>, Hero calls $0.50, 2 folds</font>, BB checks.

Flop: ($2) 5, 6, J (3 players)</font>
BB checks, UTG bets $2.5</font>, Hero raises to $5</font>, BB folds, UTG calls $2.50.

Turn: ($12) 7 (2 players)</font>
UTG checks, [color=#CC3333]Hero bets $8</font>, UTG calls $8.

River: ($28) K (2 players)</font>
UTG bets $18.5</font>, Hero calls $18.50.

Final Pot: $65

What do you think of my bet sizing on previous streets and my call on the river? Any suggestions to improve my play here?

What are your own thought on the hand, how do you think you could play it better?

Umm, it's hard seeing I know the results, but I think I should definitely have raised pf, raised more on flop and bet more on turn. I'm just really not sure about the river call when he bets into me there as the flush comes.

Raise more on flop, wtf?

Bet harder on turn, pot or close to it.

There you go. You said it all yourself. Thing is, if you did all this there would be no hard decisions on the river. If there was a river.

this tough situation is the product of your weak betting in the previous streets.

most of your stack would have gone in on the turn, assuming you reraised preflop, bet more on the flop and pot the turn, you would be looking at approx. 7:1 call on the river which would be an easy snap call.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'll look to address this weak betting.

BIGGY0007 shows [ 3d, 2d ]a flush, King high.
Labarde doesn't show [ 6c, 6h ]three of a kind, Sixes.
BIGGY0007 wins $61.75 USD from the main pot with a flush, King high.
