Default a new \"donkey big hand line\"?

I've noticed this recently, and I'm wondering if you have noticed it to? The line goes: c/c flop, c/c turn, then lead river quite big. Usually on a drawy board then blank river.

example:

villain is 42/13/1

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 3 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $523.20
BB: $874.00
US (BTN): $433.00

Preflop: US is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
<font color="red">US raises to $14.00</font>, SB folds, BB calls $10.00

Flop: ($30) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">US bets $22.00</font>, BB calls $22.00

Turn: ($74) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">US bets $55.00</font>, BB calls $55.00

River: ($184) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $136.00</font>

I'll be away for most of the weekend, but hopefully there will be some replies when i get back.

donk doesn't wanna scare you opponent off and then he realizes it's the river and his last chance to bet, and how much it would suck for him if you checked behind there. this is a very common line for bad players to take with their monsters in my experience.

if turn is worth value betting, I'd typically be snap calling this.

I see this from missed draws and monsters. Getting almost 2.5:1, I'm likely not folding.

If he mini-checkraised the Turn, however, I'm off like a Prom dress. That still seems to be the classic "I have a monster, please don't fold" line.
