zomg KK with A on flop

villain is 28/20 and is pretty in line postflop. we have a lot of history in that we've played a bunch before, but he doesnt get out of line enough for the game to play very aggro. i cant help but think that he expects a call on the river given my line, and anything that expects a call obviously has me beat - right?

also, thoughts on checking behind flop/turn and vbetting river if he checks again as the optimal postflop line here?

this is pretty dependent on your history with vil because you have so much. but as a general rule i play it the same because a lot of vils will expect a call from KK.

probably bet turn if you want to bet a street for value, checking down and betting river is way too transparent.

If you are not betting at all postflop in this spot, I call the river. Sensei says why, it's like asking to get bluffed. Even though you think he suspects a call very often, you can't be too sure of that read unless villain is good.
