Hero..?

Villian is 41/8. Didn't know what to think of his raise on the flop, so I lead out turn with 2 Pair once my ace hit. Should I check the river since he called my turn bet, and flush came?

Rasiing A7o utg is spewage here. As played I would simply fold to his minraise on the flop. You now have to play the rest of this hand out of position with all kinds of draw and 2 pair hands against you.

and I would check/call this river.

I would check river. Not sure how big a river bet I would call. If he doesn't minraise the flop often I think its a fold.

Also having the Ad here is key. Without it I'd probably be check/folding to fairly small bets (like 1/2 pot etc.) but with it I think he has the flush draw a lot less often, so I'm more inclined to call slightly bigger bets.

edit: and preflop is really ugly.
