Default Steve Dannenman on The Circuit

Steve and his home-game buddies were on cardplayer's The Circuit radio show. I found it quite hilarious (and surprisingly dirty), and Steve answered some of the criticisms that I remember people here had concerning his lashing out at Hellmuth during the TOC.

I'm curious what people think about his opinions on pot odds and some other issues that were brought up.

Edit: He also brings up the infamous Howard Lederer bluff and the ensuing phone call that got so much talk on these forums.

That was a good Circuit.

Dannenmann does a nice job of explaining his tirade against Hellmuth at the TOC.

Gavin Smith and Dannenmann's discussion of pot odds also worth the listen.

Every night around 11pm I go onto CardPlayer.com to listen and the first time I checked it hadn't been uploaded by CardPlayer yet. The next day my friend asked me if I had listened to the one with Dannanman and after an explanation I was like "Oh god, how bad was it?!" However, after to listening to it, I thought it was awsome!!! Dannanman may not be one of my top ranked pro's but he is certainly someone I respect. He knows he's just a guy who loves poker that is good enough to give himself an opprotunity to win. I respect that alot. Thought it was great and funny but I wish they'd bring Matasow back! Any thoughts on that?

Looking at his results lately I assumed he was a little further in his development as a player, that discussion about pot odds is pretty basic stuff.

Can someone summarize what he said about Phil & the TOC? I can not currently listen to the feed.

he said Phil was a [censored] moron to the floor person before, he was doing the same at that time so he just flipped out on him.

I thought that was a great show. Gavin was alright, but kind of got lost with all the people on the show, I'll have to listen to another broadcast and see how he does. Right now I prefer Mike, although I thought was incredible donkish of him to repeatedly try to get Barry G to agree that there is no strategy to on-line poker.

Dannenman's explanation of his blow up at Phil was about what I had surmized from what I saw. I'm a lot like him in that not much upsets me, but when I see someone repeatedly abusing staff who can't do anything, I tend to get in the middle of things.

I hope they keep doing the shows.

That was the one of the best so far, all though that's not saying much They should definately bring Steve on more often, he has a unique take on the game of Poker.

Matusow was horrendous on the show, constantly interrupting the guests.

Gavin Smith may be too much the other way; it was halfway through the show before I even knew he was there.
