Am I the only one who loves getting things in the mail, UPS, IMs, or anything like that? It's like a friggin present every time and I love it, even if I know exactly what it is.

I think it's because we crave contact with other people. Same idea with facebook or myspace, when we are physically detached from the outside world we want to feel connected to others in order to displace our feelings of aloneness and isolation.

I order groceries online so i can get them delivered. Nothing like getting uncrustables delivered to your door step.
