Wii Channels Ideas

What channels would you like to see for the Wii?

Personally, I'd like a Movie channel; You'd set it up with your zip code the first time and then after that it would be quick to use it to see local movie showtimes; they could even let you click on any movie on the list and watch a trailer

Another channel with a list of confirmed game release dates; Maybe clicking on any game gives info and pics/videos/etc for that game.

A sports scoreboard would be nice; you could quickly point at tabs for each major sport and it could even have one-time preferences that would then have it highlight the scores of any teams you set as 'favorites'


basically, i'd like things like weather/movietimes/scores, etc that would be faster and easier to look at on the wii when playing than getting up and getting on the computer


any other ideas?

Do you guys think there will eventually be support for user-created channels?

Either by one user for use by many or channels that the end-user customizes himself..
