Default AJs

Just scrolling through a session on PokerTracker and saw this hand. I'm not sure if I had any reads on my opponent(s) here, so just treat everyone like unknowns.

Comments on all streets?

versus an unknown, standard? sometimes I will raise this flop, but HU I don't think its bad to wait until the turn either, one of the few likely draws got there on the turn, so calling down might not be awful either.

Against an unknown I just raise/cap the flop.

Given your turn raise, you kind of have to call down.

I would raise the flop every time against most every player.

Against an unknown my default is to raise the flop. On a non drawish board i usually wait to raise the river with TPTK and having a pair of J or better.

When playing against an unknown donker HU, I have a different style than most 2+2ers, I smooth call alot more flops with hand like top pair. So IMO, there's plenty of value in waiting til a bigger street to make a decision. Part of the value of your decision to wait is getting to see even more cards before the strategic moment arrives. If a bad card slides off, you will now be very happy you didnt raise the flop. If a good/neutral card hits and can go ahead and execute your strategy.

The king on the turn was a very bad card for you, so I think your turn raise is bad. Once the King hits its times to just call down.
