I know I only beat AK here, but my gut was telling me he was weak. I have seen people min-rr pf with AA and check on a flopped A, but how does one check this flop with and overpair? this is fine. I probably play it the same although I bet the flop a decent amount of the time.

b/c he isn't checking overpairs often and you need to get value (if possible) and not let him draw for free otherwise

I think you definitely need to bet this flop. If he calls, I'm probably done with the hand and hoping to check it down.

If he was really tight then our TT would merely be a bluff catcher should villain call/raise a flop bet of ours.
Given his stats, his range is certainly not like KK+ here despite the flop minraise. Itīs true: a lot of the time, he calls w/ overcards. And sometimes he has AA. I still think itīs profitable to bet for value, itīs just not as profitable (in the long run) as betting with a lock. |
