stats since party went 6max (aka, why cant i beat 20-40?)

so all i hear on this forum is how everyone kills party 20-40 and its the biggest fish fest ever and the most profitable game on the net and a monkey would crush.

well, ive done nothing but lose. and lose fantastically. for awhile it didnt matter bc i was overrolled so i would just play higher and win and just ignore that the fact that i would eventually run poor (as always), take 3 costly vacations, and pay a ton in bills and taxes putting my roll perfectly at 20-40 land.

so anyone know why i suck so bad? fwiw, i dont plan on returning to party anyway, im just curious.

Variance?

Party 20/40 was my main game for 4 months (and this is 10 handed where variance should be less)

First 25k hands I was at nearly 3bb/100, and after that I barely won anything for the next 40k hands. For you 30/60 is tougher than 20 so it's probably just a weird coincidence.

Unless for some reason you play better against tougher opponents.

The variance in that game is astronomical and it will continue to be so in my opinion.

Even though your slide has been precipitous, this sample size is meaningless. Countless long-term winners have had 400BB and 500BB+ downswings at various limits. It appears that yours just happened right out of the gate. From your video alone I am sure that you are better than almost everyone in that game.

I've dug myself out of a similar slide in like 4k hands recently. I mean, it's certainly not good but I wouldn't assume you're a loser in that game, especially given your performance in other games.

Back when the 20/40 first opened up, I was getting killed until I adjusted. They were all very aggro and 3-bet liberally preflop. I don't know if it is still this way, but if it is, you probably haven't adjusted.
