i think this is fine. i would usually bet the turn but if you check it check call river is standard.

Yes i would normally bet the turn here. If i'm raised on the turn it would be a tough decision but i'd may have to fold since he's loose/passive.
But yes i agree with check/calling turn you have to call river.

this may be the most theoretically optimal line against his range since worse won't usually call the turn. obv we bet if you know he is a station. river call is a must if you play it this way.
