WSOP regulars-what can you bring to the table?

I am playing the main event and am curious what kind of electronics I can bring to the table.

If I bring my pocket pc phone, but turn off the phone, can I use it to write down notes and or listen to music?

Would you get run out of dodge if you took a picture of the final board of a given hand with your cell phone camera?

I looked on the WSOP website and couldn't find anything regarding this. I also called the only number I could find on their website but it was al prerecorded info and all I could do is leave a message.

I called the Rio on their 800# the other day and asked for the poker room. The lady who answered was a wealth of info...

No phones is my understanding, even if you're just using it as an mp3 player. You can't reasonably expect them to run around the hall making sure everyone is listening to music rather than on a call and taking personal notes rather than sending/receiving txt msgs.

you can have your phone and leave it turned on.
You are NOT ALLOWED TO TALK ON IT DURING A HAND.
I just got up and stepped outside the ropes to make a call.

just bring a bag with all the crap you need to sit there all day and night. (asprin. magazines, maybe a shirt to change into).

Pretty much the only thing you can't bring to the table is an electronic device with a transmitter/receiver on it (cell phone, walkie-talkie, blackberry, etc).

Someone mentioned above that cell phones are allowed, but this is incorrect. They are not allowed on the table. This rule is often not enforced by the dealers (and I generally keep mine on the table), but if the floor notices cell phones on the table, they'll ask you to remove them.

i think it's just a semantic thing. billyb was probably saying you could have your phone with you, in your pocket. and just get up and walk away if you need to take/make a call.

yes, you can bring drinks to the table.

i for one intend to be on a steady regimen of jack daniels.
