Does anyone here live in Morgantown, WV?

I'm going to be moving into WVU in about 6 hours and I really don't know too many people there except for a few that went to my high school. So I was just wondering if any 2p2ers lived in the area or were possibly a student themselves since the student life forum gets a lot less traffic than OOT I figured I would give it a shot here. It would also just be cool to chat with someone who has an interest in poker.

no but I have a number of friends going to school there. I was considering driving up for Fallfest but am not sure if I'm ultimately going to be able to

I go to several football games there each year and have friends that still attend. I live about 4 hours away in Princeton, WV. If you like to Party, WVU is perfect for you.

WV still seems to have the reputation of being a party school.

There's some publication that rates the top party schools in the country each year.
One year it was Wisconsin and West Virginia at #1 and #2 which are the schools where my Dad went to grad-school and undergrad respectively. He was so proud.

Wisconsin and West Virgina are routinely rated among the top 10 party schools by whatever group does that.

I'm in Fairmont, about 10 minutes from Morgantown. Way to old to be a student though, lol. I've been trying to round up a game. Let me know if you run across any players.

First party last night was great success [pause] NOT.

It was definitely a kickass frat party somewhere behind the Mountainlair on High Street I think it is, but like an hour after we got there the cops busted it for occupancy issues or some BS, we just went to other random places the rest of the night.
