You could just find the previous thread on this from yesterday. I'm pretty sure that Pat's back in control and that the software was never compromised...check that thread (and the one it links to) to be sure.

My first question was going to be on pokertracker but i will respond to this first.
So basically the game of poker online does not require any type of skill by using this program. pokertracker and any type of program like this are absolutley unfair to everyone in the game. When you go to any new casino or home poker tourney is there a board somewhere to show you everyone that is playing there stats? Poker online is not skill with these programs.

This tired argument has been done many times in these forums.

BTW, unless one datamines, there is no "board somewhere to show you everyone that is playing there stats" with Poker Tracker either. It is typically used to track hands you played in yourself...effectively, a memory aid if you like. It's also quite effective in tracking things like the much-talked about Absolute cheats, collusion, etc, etc. It's useful for analysing your own play. Is this what you're criticizing, or is it perhaps datamining and/or HUDs that you have a problem with?

"Poker online is not skill with these programs."

LOL

PT's primary use is to track and evaluation your own play. Combined with a hud it can be used to gain an edge on other players. The idea that the ability to interpret and use stats to gain an edge isn't a skill is laughable.
