Default Do you ever do this?

This guy was unknown:

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Here, the pot is small and this guy is likely peeling this flop with any 2. I have nothing to worry about from flush draws and he is probably check folding this turn almost every time. If I check on this somewhat scary board though he might think I'm giving up and bluff bet the river. I'm trying to keep him in the pot when he's most likely drawing dead. Obviously a read would help, but I'm basing this on how an average loose player would play his hand at this level.

I'll occasionally check behind A-mid/crap kicker, but checking behind TPTK + Nut flush draw is waaaaay too strong of a hand to be checking here

Whats your plan on a blank river?

no, but I probably should because they have A2 at worst here every time against me.

In all seriousness, this is bad. So many things that are drawing dead or worse call you here, but dont always bluff the river like Qs. You can get 2 streets of value from Ax which peels this flop always, he might even call 2 streets with a 7 etc.

Never.

Sure he may bluff the river, but he will call you with any spade, usually with a 4 or a 5 and any pair and sometimes king high as well. You also miss out big against Ax or bluff checkraises.

This is just a really bad case of FPS, IMO.

I guess this is a bad example and it's probably results oriented because he did bluff the river with QTo (T was spades.) So, he would have called anyway and then I probably would have got value out of a spade, Q or T river. There are certainly places though were you would want to check behind a hand on the turn when you know you are WA. I'm just having trouble identifying them.
