Default Rake Considerations when Stealing Blinds

Say you're playing $1-2 Limit @ Party. You're on the button and everyone has folded to you.

Is it worth trying to steal the blinds with junk, even against two tight players in the blind with the oppressive rake looming if either call?

Depends how tight is tight, and how weak they are. It isn't smart to speal with any 2 against a good tag, since he will punish you when he has a better hand and he will adjust his handrange so he isn't so tight anymore. If they are just tight and don't know how to poker, stealing with any 2 is good.

yes i believe per Hold em for Advanced Players, but your steal attempts should only be about 2/3's of the time to be optimal...that 2/3's includes times you have good hands that might win...

in a tight game, stealing the blinds is where you get a lot of your winnings
