Give me reasons why an all-in is retarded, why calling is best, and folding is spew

Checking is not good.

this does seem standard.

pushing is a bluff, only Ax calls. Leading is an option, if you know he will interpret it exactly the same as a check, but you don't want to be facing minraises or other nonsense, and we aren't trying to build a pot... so checking makes sense.

once you check, many villians will fire with anything, so you've widened his range enough... and once he sticks so much of his money in there, he'll feel compelled to push turn, which you can call easily.

even if he checks behind, we have plenty of time to get all his money in.

So yeah, standard.

I call or even push here. He calls like 90% of the time, and antinome is probly right when saying his range is wide enough for it to be ok. As of the flop bet, 8 of his 14 bucks are in the pot, so he is putting his chips in. Call and get in on turn or push seems ok.
