Preflop I'd squeeze with some sort of medium frequency. I fold to the turn bet but I'd probably call if it was QJTT rather than QTJJ. Nawmean?

I dislike the flop bet on 97 stop being lazy and potting.,

1) im a fan of a squeeze
on the turn folding is prolly good

2) hmmm if shallower i like cr'ing turn i think they will bet semi bluffs a lot
3) BET THE FLOP

I keep trying to valuetown people on boards like these and it never seems to work

What's lazy about potting?

edit: meaning i usually think its not the best idea becuz it scares people when you have nuts and too much when you have ish, but if your up against donks who are calling anything, I don't see anything wrong with a pot bet.

1) AQs is probably the worst hand I squeeze with here. I mix up calling and squeezing and w/ no read and awful players in this tournament I thought I'd get more value vs their opening ranges by calling.

2) I didn't pot the flop. 700 into like 9XX.

3) I think checking the flop is really fine and maybe even more profitable on this board with these stack sizes. I'm not scared of any turn really and hes less likely to have a draw that he c/r's flop with.



Also, how has nobody decided to discuss the river in H3? I think its a really interesting spot. I can check behind, shove for value, or even bet like 3K and call a shove vs someone like lilholdem who plays on instinct and couldnt resist [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I think you need to start building a pot immediately. Got the feeling that MR_AH1 was kind of a station who liked to call with any hand that hit the flop just slightly, so why not bet and hope he has something? My reads may be off because I didn't get to play a lot of hands against him. Bet half pot on flop...

And, yeah... River... I think he might call a small value bet here with hands you have beat, but I'd check anyway.
