A hand with AA that always drives me nuts...
Ok, so this seems to always happen.
I'm in the BB with AA, a couple callers, I raise to $20 (2/4 NL) and one guy calls. Flop comes out K, 5, 4. rainbow. I bet out $50, he raises me to $150....what do I do if I dont have any reads on the player? Do I just call and then fold to a push on the turn? What if he just calls my flop bet, turn brings a ten. I bet out $150, and he pushes. Is this always a fold without reads? Its so hard to throw aces away but it always seems like I stack guys in these spots. I know these spots are read dependant but there has to be times when you just dont know what the guy has.....what do you GOOD players do in these spots? Do you go broke with aces and just chalk it up to bad luck? |

I probably raise more preflop.
Without some large stack sizes, you should call intending on getting it in. If he's a set miner, just fold the flop. |
