Default Playing more limit holdem need advice on a 15-30 river play

i have been playing some more limit hold em lately from 10/20 up to 50/100 and have been really trying to practice playing the medium pocket pairs on boards with one over card to my pair...this flop is not great for my tens in a multi way pot but after the other two fold out i am left with one other player that i percieved as extremely splashy and willing to call down with anything...after his initial call i put him on a medium pair/flush draw type hand...the river bet by him was the confusing part of the hand bc the second pair tripped up and flush missed...i figured he was going to show me a6 in this spot alot more than a 5...anyway just wondering if check/calling the river is the correct move in the long run
