Raise more pre-flop.

Maybe you can bet/fold the river...you're probably ahead. TT,99,A8 looks likely although it could be a better hand.

Maybe....that turn bet is weird. Probably good but I'd like it more if T9 didn't just make a straight. Probably still fine especially if you think he'll call still with TT,99,8X. I think calling is fine too though as long as you'll bet the river if checked to.

Raise to $4 PF
Raise twice his bet (4->12) on that flop (probably win here)
Bet/raise turn (def win here)
check behind river (he's not moving off and might have a K or two pair here).

I think this sums it up perfectly.

You played this hand horribly though. I really can't understand why you didn't raise flop, and the turn call is horrible. Not saying you should have folded, but a raise is definately called for.

I still like my flop call. I think he bets the flop with air or a weak made hand a fair amount of the time. With these weak hands he is likely to bet the turn again. The K on the river somewhat scared me. Yes, he is unlikely to hold a king but after the king falls he is also more likely to fold a hand I beat like an 8 or stuff. But I agree that I should have put in one more bet on the turn/river.

Raise 4 preflop.
I raise flop and turn. You need to protect your hand. Don't know what villain might be holding here but that turn bet looks like a blocking bet to me. Make him pay.
