cottage cheese
It appears that many here endorse non-fat cottage cheese, whether cutting or bulking.
I'm cutting and don't want to deal with the hassle of using a blender. But I'm looking for suggestions about foods to mix to make the cottage cheese more palatable. I'm assuming fruit works well. Anything else? |

Re: cottage cheese
Flax meal or unsweetened granola/bran-type stuff and fruit will make it good. Peanut butter also.

Re: cottage cheese
god peanut butter and cottage cheese sounds so nasty. that ish is delicious on it's own. I also like sprinkling chipotle powder on it.

Re: cottage cheese
cottage + tomato + cucumber + seasoning.
When I eat it though I just eat it plain. Fat free cottage cheese is gross, why would you buy this? |

Re: cottage cheese
I go for Friendship non-fat peach and mix in some wheat germ or wheat bran.

[/ QUOTE ] this sounds good...also, try adding some tuna or canned chicken/salmon, it kinda serves as mayo or something...like can of tuna + cup cottage cheese + lemon juice + tomato + celery or whatever |

Re: cottage cheese
I like just scooping it with baby carrots or crackers. Ditto AZK, fat free is nasty.

Re: cottage cheese
I agree fat-free is nasty and dry by itself but with pretty much any fruit .. I use peaches, plumes, cantelupe it tastes great also adding wheat germ and honey changes the consistency making it less dry and bland.
