Recommended 7 card Stud reading
Hi all,
I used the search feature without luck, so if there are already threads addressing which books to read please link them for me. I am complete beginner, I was wondering what books people would recommend and what order they would recommend reading them in. Cheers, |

Hello,Pop! 7-Card Stud by Roy West and 7Card Stud by
Konstantin Othmer. Ignore the mathematics--just study the various recommendations in different spots.
After thoroughly studying these two books,THEN study the advanced 7-card stud version by RayZee. SittingBull |

Just picked up Bob Ciaffone's "Improve Your Poker" and am just about thru it. Not specific to stud but does have some material on stud including stud8, and a good bit about general poker thinking. I like it. Very clearly presented. Includes many examples of situations and quizzes on applying material covered.
Anybody else with opinions of this book? |

I liked this book. A good book to help tie things together after you have been reading a variety of other texts.
