Whoops, we\'re 200BB deep?
Villain this hand is weak tite, who i had running 20/19/5 over a small sample. I have made a small 4-bet on him once earlier this session, and he folded. We played two 3-bet pots-
1)He 3bet my button open from SB with 99, then he c/c a Qxx flop, and we checked it down to showdown (I showed J8s) 2)A TAG opened on button, he 3bet from SB with KQo, I CC from BB w/99, button folded. We checked through a Kxx flop, I called his bet on the blank turn, and checked down river. When I made the small 4bet here I was planning on calling a shove, but I forgot we were 200BB deep. My hand looks pretty face up the way I played the hand, right? FWIW, His PF call was not instant, but it was relatively quick. His flop check behind was instant. He thought for a while before making the turn and river bets. Also, I checked the flop and turn pretty quickly. EZ fold? 4 bet is awful. Like really bad calling a shove is worse. Call river i guess.

20/19/5 is weak tight
just don't 4 bet AQ pf when ur this deep. pay attention to stack sizes before you do anything else, it dictates how you play hands PF and postflop. i guess just flip a coin on the river, idk really, i never get myself in this situation. |

Re: Whoops, we\'re 200BB deep?
Weak tite is a bit nutty so i think i find a call here. He can definitely be calling your 4bet with a lot of hands and will be firing here with air a reasonable amount.

Re: Whoops, we\'re 200BB deep?
not familiar w/ stars players...sorry
meh, 4bet/call is fine vs some but i have no idea if it's fine here. it really depends on how out of line he gets vs you w/ his 5bet shoving range. the lower his pair range becomes and if he mixes in shoving Axs and some random hands that flop well as a 5bet bluff then calling is fine. edit: 100bb deep i mean tho |

Too bad you aren't 400BBs deep..........Given villain's description I call the river as played.

vs him id call this. his line looks a ton like air especially given his quick flop check and hands i have played against him.

Re: Whoops, we\'re 200BB deep?
I don't like preflop, but are we supposed to just call this preflop OOP, or fold it?
As played, I think a c/r on the turn would be fabulously sexy. I definitely don't c/f river. |
