Slowplayed nuts, fold turn?
Villan has stats of 15/6/1.2/52. I was about 19/17/x and had done nothing out of the normal.
Flop isn't great I know but more interested in the turn. Does anyone fold to the minraise here? Against someone this tight, the only hand we beat here is a smaller flush in my opinion. As I think we can rule out a 3, he's not betting the flop with a lone 3, and surely too tight/passive to have any kind of 1 pair hand. Which leaves most likely holdings of TT and 77. Does he have a smaller flush (or something else) enough of the time to justify continuing the hand? Re: Slowplayed nuts, fold turn?
WTF....don't fold.
Also bet the flop...they won't give you credit for a flush especially if you raise pre-flop and c-bet flop headsup as much as you should be. |

Re: Slowplayed nuts, fold turn?
Don't check when you raise PF and hit a hand. That defeats the purpose of c-betting. He's not putting you on the nut flush when you bet. No one with a decent hand is folding yet. At least donk the turn as played. Then call down if raised. Call down as played.

Re: Slowplayed nuts, fold turn?
Its a very good fold. The only reason I say this is because he reraises to $10. If it were $15 I go all in. Note how its not a minraise. He did not press the button impulsively, he actually typed the number in. Its a clear value reraise. He does not care what you hold or what comes on the river, he just wants some value.
But your flop is terrible. |

Re: Slowplayed nuts, fold turn?
Wtf. Slowplaying, especially in this spot, is almost never a good idea. The only reason, I mean the only reason is if you think you are going to induce action on future streets from worse hands. First slowplaying and then folding is beyond retarded. If you donīt think a guy is going to give you action by slowplaying, why the [censored] would you slowplay? It is either one or the other. This hand depends 99% on the flop and 1% on the turn.
Btw, this flop is like the easiest cb ever. You are going to win so much less money if you decide to get tricky. This is like limping AA pf to "trap". |
