Someone brought these to my game a few weeks ago. Not to harsh your mellow, but I found them extremely distracting. But then, I don't play 4-color online. Aside from taking me out of my normal "flow", I kept thinking that flushes would be more obvious to people who might not notice otherwise, and thereby -EV for me.

But other than that, they were pretty nice. Copaqs are a dream to handle. Enjoy!

I think they seem pretty cool but would be distracting as well.

I can't stand how blue and green look like highlighters. It bothers my eyes for some reason. I would prefer they were a deeper color (a deeper green and blue would be fine too).

once you go 4-color deck, you dont go back... or strike that.. you'd rather not go back to regular black/red decks..

try multitabling online for extended periods of time; you get used to it; once you go colored you never want to go back.

I have these - love them, but I also play with a bunch of people who find them distracting. One person calls it my "one-color" deck, since he sees the washed-out blue and green too similar to the grayish-black spades and grayish-red hearts.

I still play with them at my house but I haven't had any luck introducing them anywhere else. I am starting to think that whipping them out is a shorthand for "after I've taken your $10 in this drinky-donakment I'm going back to 8-tabling 1/2 NL, but I guess I'll see you next Saturday". In otherwords, not a smooth move.

I hadn't thought about it, but this could be why the guy who brought them (on his first time to our game, no less) sorta rubbed me weird. So far he seems like a decent enough guy, but I haven't been at his table yet, so who knows.
