1 - 2 Live Deepish
This hand happened in a home game. UNcapped buy in. Most players bought in around 2 - 300.
Effective stacks. 6 handed Whole table is running mega lag. Hero is running probably more lag than most. Effective stacks Hero - 800 Villian - 600 Villian raises UTG to 12$ (on the smaller side of standard raise, usually between 6 - 20) folds around to Hero (Button) who reraises to 25$ with 7h5h. 2 folds, Villian calls. Flop 7s5s4d (Pot 40$) Villian checks, Hero bets, 35 (also standard, pot size bets on flop and usually turn) Villian raises to 85. Hero tanks for a bit and raises to 230$ villian almost insta shoves. Hero?? even with laggy table this is almost never a straight. Maybe a set, but unlikely i think, 77 is possible imo. More so seems like a combo draw. Seems like a fold? Or are the odds to good to call? |

Re: 1 - 2 Live Deepish
Hate pf.
Isn't the pot 53 dollars on the flop, not 40? If so, I really don't like your bet size. I'd bet at least 40. If you're not going to call a push on the flop I hate your reraise. |

Re: 1 - 2 Live Deepish
FWIW i wasnt hero or villian in this hand. Preflop was standard this game. people calling 10h2h for 10 - 15 $.
Was more muckaround game. mostly to improve peoples postflop game but this was by far the biggest pot of the night. Should hero just flat call the reraise. at this stage you have to think he is significantly ahead? or far behind and what would a flat call achieve? |
