Sweden vs. Finland
I play a lot on the B2B network, and I often see a Swedish player and a Finnish player start going at each other. I've seen this happen often enough for me to wonder: Does a specific cultural antipathy exist between Sweden and Finland?

Finland was under Swedish rule for many years before falling under Russia rule in the 1800's. Most Finns although getting along well with Sweden don't really like them. In Finland they tell Swedish jokes like we would tell Canadian jokes in the US and vice versa.

its mostly just the kind of rivalry commonly seen with neighboring countries.
but it gets pretty intense once every couple of years as they both consider hockey a matter of national pride and both run deep in hockey championships. last world cup a number of TV's got chucked out of the window in helsinki when sweden scored a crucial goal. dont remember the details as i dont care about hockey, i just always find the inevitable aftermath amusing.
