Quick Question about Coca-Cola...
Can anyone else taste the difference between Glass Bottled Coke, Can Coke and Plastic Bottle Coke?
I swear I can but my friends tells me I'm full of [censored]. Glass is more 'packed' and tasteful IMO. Plastic bottle is the worse, just friggin sugar water. And wtf is up with restaurents that sells Glass Bottled Coke (which is harder to find these days) and asking for the bottle back Me like those bottles... |

Don't think I've ever had it out of a glass bottle, but fountain > can > plastic bottle IMO.

Re: Quick Question about Coca-Cola...
I can, but it's psychological I think. Just theres something about the presentation of a drink in a glass bottle that makes it taste better.

Re: Quick Question about Coca-Cola...
I think I can, but I'm not sure if it is just pyschological.
Perhaps Fast_Food_Knight can shed some light on this. |

Re: Quick Question about Coca-Cola...
Doesn't glass bottled coke use cane sugar instead of HFCS? It does where I live--it's usually sold in Mexican stores. Glass Bottled Coke>>>Canned Coke>>>Plastic Bottle Coke. This could have changed tho, I haven't had a soda in 13 months.

So some Mexican grocers will have "healthier" stuff. |

Re: Quick Question about Coca-Cola...
I like it out of the can the best, its gotta be a cold can though. In a perfect world the fountain would be the best but often times the CO2 is not adjusted properly or you get the ass end of the box of syrup. Also, fountain coke almost always comes out at room temperature which is yuk.
Glad to see that everyone hates the plastic bottles. |

Re: Quick Question about Coca-Cola...
I haven't had a glass bottle of coke in 15 years, but I do remember preferring it to the cans. My highschool was part of the test marketing for the plastic bottles that they use now.
