I definitely think a check is a better option when the range of hands he could have could easily include a K that beats ours or a hand like Ac9c or any two clubs where you are now dead. I think the river is too much of a scare card for us to bet at all, and might warrant a fold if the villain decides to bet out.

I agree with LQ. I think the turn bet was good for value, but any draw just got there. 4 to a straight on the board, a flopped flush draw just hit, and a ton of two pair hands. I think i'm check/folding this river.
