Default Buildin a roll for Vegas, some questions

Ok i have been playing for over 2 years now always been a winning player, but in the summer i stopped playing and withdrew my money started again last month and started to re-build, im currently at 500 dollars 8 tabling at .10/.25 cash games now i have 14 months until im suppose to be going, i was just wondering how much would be a decent figure to take for a roll and of course living expenses? What level do live cash games start to get to a proffesional level? any good places to play?

thanks in advance

Are you going to Vegas to live/try to be a pro, or just as vacation?

A vacation, but a kind of working vacation may stay for 2-3 months and try and live off poker if possible. Also would get a little idea of what its really like to be a pro

You better start building. Last time I was there they didn't offer .10/.25 games.

When I was in Vegas recently I played in 1/2 and 2/4 NL games (some are 25 or 50BB (big blind) capped buyins, some with bigger caps). Extremely soft games overall. But as far as making enough to live off is tough at these stakes IMO. I think maybe go out there for a week, stay in a cheaper hotel off the strip and just play a lot and see how it goes. I would have a roll similar to that you would need in online games (10-20 buyins).

You can play .10/.25 games in Vegas if you have a 'puter and AOL.

Why go to Vegas when you can do that at home?
