Default JJ on a big drawing board

Did I play this ok

I understand that with a deep stack it would be a mistake but here I'm not sure

6 max 1/2$
Seat 1: Hero ($84.95)
Seat 2: jheldman ($64.20)
Seat 3: machoi ($51.30)
Seat 4: jphizz ($268.30)
Seat 5: RangerFTP ($187.25)
Seat 6: Vilain ($100)

Dealt to Hero [Js Jd]
Hero raises to $7
folds x 4
Vilain calls $5
*** FLOP *** [7c 4s 9h]
Vilain checks
Hero $9
Vilain calls $9
*** TURN *** [7c 4s 9h] [8h]
Vilain $22
Hero raises to $68.95, and is all in

Why on earth do you have 42BBs? Is midstacking the new shortstacking? Anyway, bet more on the flop and yeah, get it in on the turn.
