Default Painful Bruising

Okay, I saw it coming, but there was no way to prevent it. My nearly 5 year-old son insists on playing with the toilet seat while going to the bathroom. Last night, the inevitable happened - he dropped the seat while his boy part was in the wrong location. No obvious damage, but one really unhappy little fellow who was thoroughly in pain, shock, and really, really embarassed.

This morning, man, what a bruise. Never seen a bruise there before, it's gotta smart. He can still go to the bathroom and seems okay, but it looks just terrible. I'm sure he'll be fine in a day or two, but anyone ever do this? Got any words of wisdom?

If he can go to the bathroom without it hurting there shouldn't be any damage to his urinary system. If the little guy seems OK he probably is, maybe give him some anti-inflammatory type stuff for kids.
