PS16: another line check
was curious about this one for a specific reason...unfortunately no reads:
i was confident in my line at the time, but other lines struck me as feasible...just curious on this one: PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com UTG (t3075) UTG+1 (t1495) CO (t2040) Button (t2370) SB (t1965) Hero (t2555) Preflop: Hero is in BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, CO folds, Button raises to t400, SB calls t300 |

Re: PS16: another line check
unless button and SB like to habitually make/call small raises and then fold to all ins i like a fold here... you are not desperate enough to push yet
in the heat of the moment im sure i have made pushes like this though... but i dont reccommend it |

Re: PS16: another line check
Standard fold. If button always minraises first in from the button you could perhaps push.

Re: PS16: another line check
i fold here preflop (and think this is the right move against a random button), but with the right read on him, a shove is good.

Re: PS16: another line check
I'd need a read on Button & SB to be pushing this, SB just called 1/5th+ of his stack off and if your pushing he's likly to call.
Now what would he limp here? If we push i think this may be -EV. I fold and pick a better spot. I dont see any reason for calling either, no info, OOP, Weak ace, potential draw that we'd have to fold Etc. So you either pushed or folded |
