Simple but frequent 3bet pot spot...
I (as most) often like to 3bet suited hands and with 100bb stacks it can often lead to situations like this. Villain is a TAG reg.
Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $5/$10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $960 BB: $3212 UTG: $1698 MP: $1953.25 Hero (CO): $1038 BTN: $1012 Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG folds, MP raises to $35, Hero raises to $111, 3 folds, MP calls $76 Flop: ($237) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) MP checks I flop a naked flush draw. If I pot the flop and get CRai, I have $680 to call to win $1400, essentially getting very close to the right odds to call for my probable 9-outer. Do people like a check here? If so, do you bet (if checked to) a 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] turn? What do you do if villain leads turn? What if stacks are closer to $1300 or $1400 where if you get CRai on the flop you have to fold? Just wondering how people like to handle this situation.. |
