Default Help! Fake Check From Titan Poker

A friend of mine deposited 500 on Titan Poker to get a bonus and rakeback deal. He played for a bit ran his 500 into 650 and didnt really like the software so he decided to cash out everything he had. They didnt let him and told him the max he could cash out was 500. He decided to cash out 500 with a check.

Titan poker sent him a fake check. I have the letter from Wells Fargo here ill type out what it says:

"Dear Mr. X,

This letter is to confirm our conversation that the attached check was reported to us as a fraudulent check. Citibank International informed us that the numbers on the bottomr of the check do not match any account numbers.

The check was mailed from here Wells Fargo Bank to Citi Bank.

Should you have any further questions please contact me directly."

He has faxed them extra info they have asked for and talked to everyone he could at Titan Poker and they no longer respond to his emails. He has called them several times and they have given him false bank information. He just wants his money can you guys please help him?

Tell him to get his rakeback affiliate to get on it. They should be able to get stuff sorted.

Why did they short him $150 as well? There is no "you can only cash out $x" at Titan rule is there?
As mentioned, his affiliate is the answer here.

I mistankenly cashed out of titan with a check (that's their default option for cashouts). I got the check 3 weeks later and it cleared ok.

This was about 3 months ago.

This story makes no sense. They give a reason for why the max he could cash out was $500?

Thats what I said. All the stuff you guys are saying is pretty much what I said. I was skeptical as well, but the wells fargo letter was legit and he had the check as well. I told him to talk to his rakeback person as you guys suggested he is going to do that. Ill update this thread when he does.

Man. Just think if the idiot republicans were thinking clearly - this online poker could be an honorable business backed by solid Nevada casinos, and nobody would have to go through crap like this.

Do you idiots realize that it's not all the Republicans' fault? Democrats are equally at fault for this crap.
