IP Conflicts...
Ever since I got my new PC my computer/laptop seem to be having IP Conflicts a lot, and when they do, one of the computers can't connect to the internet.
My PC runs XPx64 and is connected by a cable. Laptop runs XP Pro and is connected wirelessly. Standard Linksys Wireless Router. I know this is something very simple, but can't seem to figure out what's going on or how to fix it. |

Re: IP Conflicts...
Check your router settings. This is pretty weird tbh. Maybe you could assing static ip-adresses?

Re: IP Conflicts...
Are you getting conflicts on both machines? Do they get conflicts with eachother, or with some mysterious computer? Are you using DHCP in the router? Is one of your machines assigned with a static IP?

Re: IP Conflicts...
I had the exact same problem for a few days. Then it just went away. I don't know what caused it or what fixed it.
I also have a Linksys router but I don't see how that would be relevant. |
