Default flopped top end oesd-awkward spot

in this hand, i only had 4 hands on villain while i was waiting to come in on the bb. i don't give his mini3bet pf much credit though. maybe his range is a little stronger than normal, but i'm certainly not putting his range at jj+ aq+ here. i would have dumped pf if i had something like kj, but i'm not dumping this to a minraise.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $19.10
BB: $9.70
UTG: $5.40
MP: $12.00
Hero (CO): $10.00
BTN: $9.05

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP calls $0.10, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.40</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $0.70</font>, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.30

Flop: ($1.65) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)

pretty interesting spot. i flop a decent draw, but i'm oop and probably don't have much fe. call/fold might be reasonable, but i hate to give a random that much credit and give up this good of a hand. i decided to check and see if and how much he would bet.

Hero checks, <font color="red">BTN bets $1.65</font>,

villain has 6.7 left behind, so calling isn't really much of an option. that leaves me with either dumping my hand or setting him all in.

<font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $9.30</font>, BTN calls all-in for $6.70
Uncalled bet of $0.00 returned to Hero

Turn: ($18.35) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($18.35) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $18.35 ($1.80 Rake)

i set him in, but i have a hard time deciding whether this is bad, slightly bad, marginal, or slightly good. how much credit should i give a random's mini3bet preflop, and how much should i expect him to call my raise with? i don't mind making this play if its only slightly bad, because it might get me some extra action later, but i feel like its probably just plain bad.
